HELLO EVERYONE PRESENT OVER HERE, I HOPE YOU ALL ARE DOING ABSOLUTELY WELL. I M BACK HERE WITH A ANOTHER EXCITING BLOG IN WHICH I M GOING TO TELL YOU ABOUT THE MOST VISITED TEMPLE IN THE WORLD. SO LET'S BEGIN TO OUR TODAY'S BLOG :)

        GOLDEN TEMPLE - AMRITSAR 

   The Darbar Sahib, meaning "exalted     court" or Harmandir Sahib, meaning   "abode of God" also known as Golden   Temple, is a Gurudwara located in the   City   of Amritsar, Punjab, India. It is the     preeminent spiritual site of Sikhism.

 The Harmandir Sahib, the most visited temple in the World,known as Golden Temple, is Sikhism holiest shrine, visited by millions of pilgrims and tourists from all over the World.

1. Founders :- Shri. Guru Ram Das and Shri. Arjan are the two people who decided to built this Beautiful temple. The Temple started to built in the year 1581 and gotta completed by the year 1589.

2. Opening / Closing time :- Open All the Day (Currently closed due to COVID-19 pandemic).

3. Entry Fee :- Free Entry. The Temple is open for everyone at absolutely Zero Cost.

4. Location :- Harmandir Sahib, Amritsar.
   The Temple's Architecture is Beyond Beautiful imagination and the serene Sarovar that surrounds the Temple, the Holy Lake that is believed to consist of Amrit or Holy Water, which adds to the Glory of Temple complex. Harmandir Sahib also Houses the Guru Granth Sahib; the Holy text of Sikhism.

   Remember, that while inside the temple, it is Mandatory to cover your head at all times. Also, eating food at the Langar, a common kitchen where Food is served to all the visitors is an experience not to be missed. A trip to Amritsar is an Incomplete without paying a visit to the Golden Temple. Even if you're not a devotee then too a visit is a must to the truly awe-inspiring experience.

5. HOW TO REACH GOLDEN TEMPLE? 

 Mumbai :- There are Direct Flights from Bombay to Amritsar. And it will cost you approximately 8K to 10K Rupees. And then take away a taxi directly to Golden Temple which is about a 15min drive. 

 Delhi :- By Road :- A straight drive to Golden Temple, which is about 7hours30mins covering a distance of 454 kms.

6. BEST TIME TO VISIT GOLDEN TEMPLE :-

 The Best time to Visit Golden Temple is definitely in Winters. During Summers, the Temperature is warm and the Humidity level is too high. November-March are the Peak time to travel here. December-January are bit very Cold. So, I, personally recommend you all to visit this place during November month. It would be a Perfect time to Experience it.

9. PLACES FOR SHOPPING IN AMRITSAR. 

1. HALL BAZAAR:- It is the Main shopping area in the City and is filled with a number of Shops and Restaurants. 

2. OLD CITY BAZAAR :- The Old City Bazaar of Amritsar is an excellent place to shop for traditional Indian wear, bangles, the famous Punjabi jootis and other trinkets. 

10. FOOD IN AMRITSAR! 

 Visiting Amritsar without entering any Dhaba is literally impossible. One must definitely should visit any Dhaba. I recommend to visit the famous "Bharawan Da Dhaba" it is the most well known places to Eat in Amritsar. It serves a Variety of Punjabi dishes along with its Famous Lassi at a very Reasonable Price. 

 I honestly highly Recommend to visit this place once in your entire Life. Even, if you are any devotee or not, it has very significant place in everyone's life. It has magnificent and unique Beauty which brings people from all over the World towards it. And as an Indian, we must feel proud, that we have such a Beautiful Temple in our Contry😊.
